Barcelona Before

Barcelona Before

Hola,

I'll be in Barcelona from October 6-10, so I've done my research and planning for the trip, and I thought I'd share this information with you to help you out. After I return, I'll be publishing a different blog post about my experiences, and I'll be offering a tried-and-true vacation plan for those going to Barcelona.

Before going on a vacation, people usually do their research on where to visit and what to eat and drink. Of course, after arranging the hotel and transportation :) Based on this, in all my trips, I proceeded as to which places I should see first and then which flavors I should experience. That's why I broke my own record by taking 80 thousand steps in 2 days in Budapest. On the way back, I got sick as a medal and stayed in bed with a report for three days, but it was worth it. I would do it again :)

Going back to our Barcelona plan, on October 6, 13.55, under normal conditions, our plane will have landed. Passport control, waiting for luggage, etc. I plan to be at the hotel at 16. Of course, if we think that our bodies need energy after coming from the road, it seems that our first target will be Ciutat Comtal. I chose this place because tapas is one of the most famous foods. After eating our tapas and having a drink in Ciutat Comtal, we will pass through Catalunya Square and tour La Rambla Street. I am sure it will be a nice and pleasant evening walk from this street to Barcelona beach. While walking on the street, we will pass Palau Güell and Pl. Reial and finally we will see the Christopher Columbus Monument. Afterwards, we will go back to our hotel and get ready for the next day with a good rest.

On October 7, we will leave our hotel after having a nice breakfast. Our goal is to be at Park Güell at 14:00. We will visit Casa Batllo and Casa Mila before going to Park Güell. After our visit to Park Güell, we will stop by our hotel and get ready for dinner. Our plan for this evening is Restaurante La Barca del Salamanca. We are told that the paella and seafood here is worth trying. We will end the day with a pleasant dinner.

October 8th is La Sagrada Familia day, very exciting. We will be there at 13:00 and we will have a wonderful tour of the towers. Then we will have our coffee (Nomad Coffee) and enjoy the Triomf Arch and then Ciutadella Park. From there we will start our Barcelonata Beach tour. We will close the evening at 7 Portes.

On October 9th, we will take a sweet break in Granja Dulcinea after completing our route to Barcelona Cathedral, Catalan Music Palace, Saint Felip Neri Square, Plaça de Sant Jaume as the first part of our tour. Afterwards, we will wander the streets of Barcelona with our coffee in our hands. Then we will visit Santa Maria del Mar Church, Fossas de les Moreres and Picasso Museum and find a local bar/restaurant and spend the evening.

On October 10, our flight is at 14.35, so we can wake up early in the morning, have a coffee and enjoy the streets of Barcelona for the last time. I am sure I will do that :)

As a bonus, we can try dance performances at the Catalan Music Palace, a tour of Nou Camp, shopping at Mercat de la Boqueria, local street trips and delicacies.

This blog post is just a sketch of the trip for the moment. After my return, I will write a clearer and more detailed afterward with my experiences. Let's see how much of our plans we can realize. After all, even though it is a cliché, life is what we experience while we plan.

Barcelona After will return ;)
